'Lo,
L'Aigle now features bot-controlled artillery in the mod. This great feature was coded by the talented DrTomas (of 1257 AD fame). These guns and their crews can be recruited from castles and will also be used by AI lords. The crews will automatically load, aim and fire the guns and can be given basic firing commands.
Artillery was naturally a huge part of Napoleonic warfare, Napoleon's innovative use of which was one of the most important things that made his armies so successful for so many years. It adds significant new depth to the battles in the mod and force the player to make the potentially difficult of decision choose between engaging in an artillery duel, or attempting to silence the enemy's guns via an attack.
In these screenshots you'll see some French artillery (supported by a company of Fusiliers) battering an enemy force in submission. Naturally, every faction will have unique and historically-accurate artillery crews.
Over the next while I'll be posting some exclusive images of artillerists' uniforms on my twitter account, so check that out if it interests you.
Thanks for reading and following the mod!

How do you pronounce L'Aigle
Just type it in Google Translation. I'm french, and Docm30's answer is correct, but you'd have a better understanding of its pronounciation with this tool. :)
leh-GLUH or leg-LA, either way the 'uh' sound is very short and quiet.
