Firstly, thanks to everyone for once again voting L'Aigle into the Top 100! It's an honour and I hope you've voted again now that we've made the Top 100. Please do if you haven't (and assuming you see this before the fast-approaching deadline).

After more than three years in development, the singleplayer alpha for L'Aigle now has a release date, which can be seen in the new HD trailer. The trailer also shows off a variety of features and content in the mod, from the cities to the battlefields. A new map, hundreds of new items, new scenes, new sounds, new animations, new features and more are all set to appear in the upcoming alpha.

Thanks for watching the trailer. I look forward to releasing the mod more than anyone and I can't wait to have years of mine and others' hard work pay off and provide you with an in-depth recreation of Napoleonic Europe.

That's all for now.

i'll just warn u as a veteran of both mod db and taleworlds, if you ask for anything even remotely related to a release date, no matter how reasonable it is, you will get yelled at by someone, mod db is more forgiving tho

AHOY! I Love the look and direction of this mod. I'm from North Wales and I was wondering do you have any plans to put any Welsh regiments in the British army roster for "L'Aigle"? namely the "Royal Welch Fusiliers" ;) I can assure you they are worthy regiment with a bloody history of engagements and bursting with flamboyant charisma and look the part with their wolf/racoon skin hats (they even have a goat that follows them around), I'm willing to donate/bribe for you to put them in :D .....great work btw

The British light infantry are the 43rd Monmouthshire. Now technically Wales was a part of England in 1809, but Monmouthshire was considered by some to be Welsh, as it is now.
