Today we'll take a quick look at the London scene in the mod, but first a short note on the mod's progress.

To put it simply: progress is slow. I find myself with little (and increasingly less) free time to work on the mod. When I can't find the free time necessary to work on the mod progress simply doesn't happen. I can again assure you that no one wants the mod released more than I do, but it's not easy getting it to that point. You'll have to bear with me.

Now, a look at the London scene, which is set in Whitehall (which is technically in Westminster, but let's not be pedantic). In the scene you'll find some of the most famous buildings and areas in London, including Horse Guards, Downing Street, Scotland Yard and the Banqueting House of the old Palace of Whitehall.

It should be noted that the scene is a work in progress and as such still needs some smaller details.

Thanks for reading.

I agree with alot of others that it is very unfair to leave a load of people clueless of a release date just waiting here. I know in one of the videos it said that the release date was late 2013, but that has past and we're near the end of the 2nd month in 2014. Maybe Docm give us another estimate instead of leaving us here having to wait another year :(

Modding is big business, it is hard to predict an accurate release date. You will never know when you will stumble upon mind-shattering problems that could take months to resolve. If he leaves you another release date, say, by the end of this year, you will all be complaining even more if he didn't manage to complete it. It will be released when it is done. Giving a release date won't get it released faster.

Talking in-game politics, how much will the player be able to influence the political scheme of things? I know in diplomacy mod you can persuade a king to declare war and so on, and I know that realistically you couldn't just waltz into Windsor castle, wave aside the Lord Chancellor or PM and say to King George 'Hey, Georgy, how about a fight with the Danish?', but will there be others ways to influence what choices your nation chooses, if at all?
