Straight to the point. After years of hard-work L'Aigle finally has a release. This is a singleplayer only open alpha for the time being and it is admittedly rough around the edges. Please bear the following things in mind:

It is a very early alpha and lacks items and various content, it has tons of repeated scenes, it has native quests and features, it has a general lack of polish and so forth. Please remember it's the very first version and thus very rough. Over the coming months the mod will get new items, new quests, new scenes, new features and much more.

L'Aigle Singleplayer Open Alpha 1.0

If you're not familiar with the mod or need a refresher, here is our latest trailer again:

The mod should be available from the 'downloads' section of this profile or one of the various mirrors that are going up soon. I'll update this news post as they are added.

Please read the description on the file and the read me contained within the .rar. I hope you enjoy the mod and I hope it gives you a taste of what's to come in the future.

Only one word is needed to describe this mod. Amazing!
It is truly an amazing mod.
But I have an... Idea/ hope suggestion. I would LOVE if you guys could add Denmark to this mod. (With black uniforms I.imgur.com)
In my opinion it is the coolest soldier uniform.

That uniform has nothing to do with the Napoleonic Era. It is from the 2nd Schleswig War in 1864. We wore red (among other colours) in the time that the mod is set in.

I know we was wearing the red uniform. But there is a reason that, this red uniform got replaced. A red uniform with a big white cross on it...(No camouflage and one big target) This was also just a suggestion.
And you are correct again about the second Schleswig war. I'm just kinda hoping that they will just look, at it. And think about it. (Personally opinion: I love that black uniform)

as much as all the others, you just have to wait. Then, why danmark first and not spain? or ottoman empire, or sweden? just wait

I know I have to wait? I was just suggesting. And if you read my suggestion I never mention that Denmark should be made before Spain, Sweden or the Ottoman Empire. I just asked if they could add Denmark.

Sorry, but I had to ask, what's the name for the song in the trailer?

The author already knows that people want Freelancer. However I don't know whether it will be implemented or not.

here are some minor changes i'd like to see in futur updates:

1: the coats are annoying.
2: they should be way more accurate
3: some glitches still need to be fixed like no pants scots thing and ghosts

1: I actually think they are looking right and makes battles more immersive.

2: They, the coats?

3: Well, duh! Have you seen an Alpha that is glitch-free?
