Today we'll take a quick look at the London scene in the mod, but first a short note on the mod's progress.

To put it simply: progress is slow. I find myself with little (and increasingly less) free time to work on the mod. When I can't find the free time necessary to work on the mod progress simply doesn't happen. I can again assure you that no one wants the mod released more than I do, but it's not easy getting it to that point. You'll have to bear with me.

Now, a look at the London scene, which is set in Whitehall (which is technically in Westminster, but let's not be pedantic). In the scene you'll find some of the most famous buildings and areas in London, including Horse Guards, Downing Street, Scotland Yard and the Banqueting House of the old Palace of Whitehall.

It should be noted that the scene is a work in progress and as such still needs some smaller details.

Well with the uniforms there were three types of British Dragoons: Light,Heavy & Guard the one that looked like the Dragoon Guard had an Officers/Generals hat not used by Britain. The first of the three was a Hussar. The Light Dragoon looked fine though. With the Russian Grenadier..... It was a Militia not a Grenadier. And the Austrian Fusilier had a helmet. No Infantryman in the Napoleonic Wars to my knowledge on the subject wore a helmet.

I don't know what you mean about the dragoons. You'll have to link me specific screenshots for me to address that.

Regarding the Russian grenadier, the uniform is accurate and certainly not a militia uniform. Russia had no militia.

Austrian infantry wore a leather helmet from 1797 to 1809.

Uh...... Are you an idiot? Because i looked up Russian grenadier and all the pictures that were grenadiers had big pointy hats. The militia maybe but grenadiers wore big pointy hats.

Well saying grenadiers didn't wear big pointy hats which we know they did. Does not make you smart.

I think the fact that the dragoons from your earlier screenshots upset him because they're wearing bicornes, and his assertion that Napoleonic infantry not wearing helmets is absurd.

I don't want to sound condescending but I get the feeling he's one of those guys that think playing Napoleonic Wars makes them an expert on all things Napoleonic.
