Hello,

Firstly, thanks to everyone for once again voting L'Aigle into the Top 100! It's an honour and I hope you've voted again now that we've made the Top 100. Please do if you haven't (and assuming you see this before the fast-approaching deadline).

After more than three years in development, the singleplayer alpha for L'Aigle now has a release date, which can be seen in the new HD trailer. The trailer also shows off a variety of features and content in the mod, from the cities to the battlefields. A new map, hundreds of new items, new scenes, new sounds, new animations, new features and more are all set to appear in the upcoming alpha.

Thanks for watching the trailer. I look forward to releasing the mod more than anyone and I can't wait to have years of mine and others' hard work pay off and provide you with an in-depth recreation of Napoleonic Europe.

That's all for now.

Adieu.

I know a ton of people who woukd want this. I was hoping for the official company to make it but now I found that you've made it, and with better quality then the official napoleonic multiplayer! Bravo! I myself study the napolonic wars and I see you have gotten everything right, from the year XI swords to the epaulettes of a grenadier.

I'm having knee surgery in November, is there any chance of having a beta to help pass the time during my recovery. If not that's cool. Just asking.

I'm assuming from the latest video that musical instruments will be in the mod and in the single player campaign, is this correct? Will they work similarly to the Napoleonic Wars instruments? By the way the mod looks great! I think its a good idea to keep taking your time to ensure quality.

They don't work at all like in Napoleonic Wars because they aren't played by humans, but rather the AI.

I'm not sure if this has been announced already, but I'm asking anyway.

Will the nations in Europe be permanently at war as they were historically? E.g., UK and France won't spontaneously make peace in the middle of 1809 and so forth?
