Today we'll take a look at Chevau-Legers Polonais de la Garde Imperiale, some the most elite cavalry in the French army.

Originally created in 1807 by Napoleon to serve as an elite bodyguard recruited from the Polish nobility and landowning classes, they were unquestionably the most famous cavalry regiment of the era and frequently cited as one of the greatest of all time. The Polish Chevau-Legers proved their incredible aptitude for combat time after time at several of the period's major battles.

Their most famous exploit was probably at the 30 November, 1808 battle of Somosierra Pass, where the Spanish had set up a desperate last attempt to halt the French march on Madrid. A single squardon of the Polish Chevau-Legers charged the Spanish army, artillery and all, head on and captured all four of their batteries. Though half the squadron was killed or wounded in the charge, they carved a permanent name for themselves in the annals of history.

In the 1809 war against Austria, they saw action at several of the major battles of the Austrian front, including Aspern-Essling and Wagram. The most noteworthy battles of the war.

In the mod they'll be available to French officers recruiting in Poland. They were only armed with lances (thus their better known name, the 'Polish Lancers') after the War of the Fifth Coalition, so they serve as light cavalry in the mod.

Hi to all!! Best mode indeed. However, the creator spend some much time to create uniforms (which is cool ofcourse), but for the singleplayer i dont really thing we will use all troops. I mean usually we have 200 soldiers, so with 4-6 types of different soldiers will be enough for our army.

For the multiplayer ofcourse it will be fantastic to have all these.

It will be better to realese the game, to focus on how to make the game more atractive, we dont want 2435546 different uniforms, we can wear only one....

Try to focus on econpmy, battle commands, missions, and the map.

Thx!! Best Mode indeed!!

For single player what is the capacity of your party or army gonna be? I mean concidering we are going to be commanders/generals what have you, we're gonna need like 300 men in a party atleast to represent a realistic level of combat IMO. What will the starting party capacity be?

But truly, sir, if English is not your native language, then I am deeply sorry for criticizing your comment so harshly. I shouldn't have assumed, but it's just that I was really frustrated with all of the incoherent comments by other people, and yours just set me over the edge. But I certainly should not have expressed my discontent like I did. It was uncalled for me to criticize you like that, regardless of if your comment "set me over the edge" or not. So again, I am very sorry.
