you know if you really wanted for them to be all black, you can equip them with a "face helmet" that is a helmet that includes the hat and the actual face of the soldier...

They don't belong to the trooptrees properly, but the unit is still in the game. You can fix it with Morgh's Editor.

Description

Originally formed for French service as the Bataillon des Pioniers Noirs from West Indian prisoners-of-war and free men, they were transferred to Neapolitan service in 1806, where they became the 7th "Royal African" Regiment. They were considered a foreign regiment until 1810, when they were confirmed as a permanent Neapolitan regiment. Until that time, they almost certainly wore the old Pioniers Noirs uniform instead of the white Neapolitan uniform.

On the Italian front of the 1809 war against Austria the Royal Africans distinguished themselves as unquestionably the best infantry regiment in Neapolitan service, and in fact the only reliable one. They proved the same thing again in Russia in 1812.

The regiment was all black, including the officers save for the Colonel, the curiously named Francesco MacDonald. There's nothing I can do about some white faces spawning in, though.
