are all those wrinkles and details on the uniform 3d modeled or with texture filters?
They're normal-mapped on.

The Fresnel shaders give the impression sometimes that an object is surrounded by white or very reflective objects. Like the leather boots... where is half of that light coming from? I like the muted colours and all the other stuff people complained about, but I think the halo effect should be toned down ever so slightly.
