You are about to play the Long Awaited mod:
Kung Fu Evolution!
Been working on this for 3 years straight now. And im very satisfied with the final product!
It's not The Real World for mp1 as MP2 engine limits alot in comparrison.
However i have the graphical edge and 14 unique characters.
How to install:
Put ALL files into your Max Payne 2 install folder.
Make sure to have set developer mode on.
Right click on the MaxPayne2 shortcut on your desktop and add: -developer -developerkeys -screenshot after maxpayne2.exe"
(Eg, "D:\Spil\RockstarGames\Max Payne 2\MaxPayne2.exe" -developer -developerkeys -screenshot )
This has to be done so you can select alternate skins for some characters by pressing the PG UP og PG DOWN buttons.
I ran into limits of the mp2 engine that stopped me from making the alternate skins selectable from menu.
Start Max payne 2 and select Kung Fu Evolution from the drop down box.
How to play:
Customise your controls!
MB1 - Shoot (Standard combos)
MB2 - Bullettime Combo (Kicks and harder hitting combos)
E - Use (Finishers)
F - Bullettime Only (Slowmotion)
Is the setup i will recommend people for best controls.
Then go to Start Kung Fu Evolution and select Dojo where you'll learn the basics of the Kung fu system!
Feel free to report bugs, and ill try my best to fix them and send out patches:)
Enjoy the mod! and remember the F10 button for awesome screenshots :D

Heh, what can i say ?I got what i expected, an awesome mod, worth waiting for...this mod is like a breath of fresh air to all the other or most max payne 2 mods wich all look thesame only models are switched, the anims are marvelous, Vergils beowulf beeing my favurite. I can already tell il be playing this for some time now, its presented nicely and actualy has a seperate story.The only complaint i would hawe is beeing to some models beeing stolen from other games such as mp3 or dmc3 but heh,its a great mod over all and most people tend to pirate things these days, so i dont think its that of a big deal. Thanks for the awesome mod Andersen.
Andersen Its Working great! Everything works great i didn't get any errors at all maybe its just from the settings from the graphics cuz it depends on your options that what i did when i got the 1st error make some of your options high resolution and others live it low or mid.. :D thats my advice for you guys whos having error's for the mod... :)

I am constanly getting this error message:"Exception in engineInit:Level "Intro" not found from the database" when the first download screen finishes. I installed the full mod twice and no luck.Please help me.
Make sure to put all files from the archive into your mp2 folder.
Heard of this bug before, and another solution could be removing old mod files you have in there. Especially .ras files if there is any.

im getting the same error but my game has ras files and themod was working before and i had ras files in it.

You need to open properteies, under the Location named Max Payne 2 is the Location "C:\Program Files\Remedy\Max Payne 2\MaxPayne2.exe" ther you need to add -developer -developerkeys -screenshot

Please upload this super cool mod on Desura coz my internet connection is very slow and this download does not support resume function. But it's much easy for me to download mods from desura! so' plz, plz, plz upload this mod on Desura. I really want to play this mod!!

The levels are not designed to be played with characters picked from PG UP and DOWN so they bug at cutscenes. Can't do anything about that sorry.

Dont know exactly why they are greyed out.
However try to use pe3 or anyother mod with a level selector and finish the last level on hardest difficulty. and then load up kfe afterwards again. Not sure if this works.

Never Mind! I Got it worked do as i write in hear below:
First have a clean install of game of max payne 2.make a shortcut in propertise at the end of target write down this: -developer -developerkeys -screenshot . add the files of kfe v2. then in options change the things like this:
screen mode: the lowest
accleration: d3d hardware t&l
antialaising: 4 samples
texture color depth:high
texture resoulution:high
texture filtering:billnear
triple screen buffers:yes
allow windows keys:yes
audio setting: all of them tick and sound channels high
character shadows:medium
decals:high
projectils: low
material varation:high
post process effects:high
pixel shader skin:No never never!!!!(IT is also the main prob)
all other settings:yes or tick
