Kreedz Climbing is a unique, non-violent, puzzle-type, 3D-First Person View game where the player attempts jumping and 17 other disciplines like shooting flare targets, racing vehicles, surfing, bungee, bunnyhop, longjump, or sliderace until he/she reaches the top (or end) of any given environment. In Kreedz Climbing no map is the same and can vary with any combination of these skills. It's a race against time and against other players with any discipline in the game.

Instead of just using it to bust open boxes, why not later code it in so that you can actually grab onto clifsides with it?

dang i wrote a reply to this and must have hit the wrong button.....(lower right wher eit says add reply......on many forums its written just like that.
anyway if you knew kreedz maps from 1.6, which is what we are attempting to duplicate in the source engine, you wouldnt ask that question
albeit, principally a fine suggestion, it would still totally ruin what the game actually is. a game of movement and timing talent. if you add that ability to this game, no one will jump anymore and you can begin to think of a new name for it.....if i can grab cliffsides, i can avoid all jumps.
we have other things to offer and its not ONLY jumping.
what some of ya are missing is the fact that CS1.6 was th4e playground for the kreedz maps.....a non-violent concept(onyll CT spawns in our maps and FF off) in a violent game scenario.
i killed the violence completely to pawn a phrase. the tool is just replacing the knife. we do have a special thing going on for those who can complete the maps........but as of yet its still remaining a secret.......so im not able to say much

The grabbing on was planned at one stage, SoUlFaThEr and I talked about it when I was still contributing. It didn't go any further, because the game uses a sort of teleporter you can get back to where you fell off with.(besides, it would of been a bastard to code!)

according to Kaos, its not actually we were speaking yesterday about how we could use a grapple or other form of NOT jumping to get upwards, on certain areas of a map.....a bush based ent for clinging like a ladder almost.
we need an animator, and a real good one
