This update will explain some needed information on the mod’s play style.

At the moment the only GC that is set up for heroes is Gateways. This is only because I used that GC for testing hero spawning, Alliance ship building and unit cost/built time. While other GC’s are playable, they will spawn the old heroes.

Firstly, The Sith Knights.

When playing as the knights it’s best to have a mixed fleet of cruisers and corvettes. While most cruisers have good flak coverage, they lack accuracy that comes with a Corvette’s lasercannons.

The knights may have great weapon coverage but they lack any shield killers. Therefore it’s best to employ bombers to knock out shields for the heavy turbos.

The Omega Fleet

For Omega it’s build the biggest ship possible and spam it!

They have the most hardpoints, bigger ships in the early techs, Ion Cannons and Missiles for anti-shield. They have the early game advantage but lack anything bigger than the Providence-class.

Omega ships don’t deploy bombers. There fighters are hoarded and fast making them some of the best. Also, with the ion cannons and missile launchers on the larger ships makes also having bombers a little overpowered.

The Black Alliance

The Alliance’s strength comes from having groups of small ships that can cause great damage together. The multiple targets with hardpoints and shields cant be destroyed as quickly as a pair of heavy cruisers and thus have more time to use their combined firepower.

Their fighters fall behind the Knights but the Gauntlet is nearly the best besides the Drones of the Harrower-III-class.

Their late-game cruisers are some of the strongest. Between the near Venator match that is the Justice-class and then the dreadnaughts Kyr’am Kal and Mav Manda’yaim are fleet killers.

Land Battles is a whole new modding realm for me. I have NO animating skill for infantry units and very little modeling knowledge. I do however have plenty of free released models to implement for what I have planned.

That is the uncompleted setup of Land Battles with what I’m capable of without a modeler and animator for walkers and infantry or someone to teach me.

I do plan on this being a Infantry heavy game and not spaming of the largest vehicle like the original game was with the Canderous Tank and AT-AT.

Right now I’d like to ask anyone skilled to help. I need-
1. A land mapper who cam make halfway decent GC maps
2. Infantry Modeler/Animator. Or at least someone who can animate models I give them or even attach the animations from the original game.

I hope this was an enlightening update and I hope to soon have a functioning GC with some form of basic objectives along with playable land with some good maps.
