Frigate - Side Turbos are heavy
Ion Frigate - Replaces the side turbos for Ion Cannons
Armed Freighter - Aged freighter only good for cannon fodder or 1v1 vs. a corvette.
Why not add the red oen as either the ion frigate or the normal one? Seems more appropriate than black or green imo.
the one's who upgraded the ship from a frieghter was the Black Fang Pirates so it will be the dark grey default color. i needed to remove the line of code for that.

I think there should be one freighter version, and one normal having both ion cannons and turbolasers, otherwise the normal one will be almost usless.
the freighter has weaker and slower weapons, the hanger was turned into a cargo hold so it has no fighters and no side lasercannons.
the frigate has side heavy turbos, fighters and lasercannons.
the ion frigate just replaces the side heavy turbolasers for ion cannons. The alliance needs some ioncannons at the lower end ships.
