Knightmare-class Support Frigate WIP image - Knights of the Old Empire 2 - Unity mod for Star Wars: Empire at War: Forces of Corruption
Sequel to Knights of the Old Empire 1 - Awakening. Twenty years into the alternate future you see the Republic and Jedi in a time of change where Unity and Democracy are two different things. Family or Tradition are tested as many more youngling are given to the Knights for training and many padawan, jedi knights and even masters are leaving the Jedi for the Sith Knights. The Knight's have formed a federation of systems known as the United Systems that seeks galactic security and freedom. The republic is crumbling under the better life promised and given by the Sith Knights and the Unity. But that all is about to change with one unprovoked and dastardly attack on Revan City on Korriban.
Jeroenimo began making a model of this ship back before he even announced EAW-Re. He gave me the unfinished model but i never went back and finished with it. This version is completely mine (Except the turrets) since i felt like making a new model from scratch instead of using his unfinished one.
The Unity lacked a frigate with a strong Ion Cannon barrage besides the Aggressor. Now this little guy will act as a support frigate with long-ranged turbolaser and ion cannon weapons and maybe a missile or torpedo launcher in the front.
This ship is the rival of the Republic's Guardsman-class Support Frigate which has the same purpose. This one will only be better in that it has better shielding and armor while the Guardsman has a much better firing arc and a smaller frame.

Turrets are Jeroenimo's. Ions came from his Customs Frigate(Guardsman in my mod) and the Turbo's came from when he made this before.
Nice Code Geass reference! then again this whole mod is at the very least inspired by it. (you even use parts of it's soundtrack) Still I think that it is a great source to draw inspiration and you have done an excellent job of creating your own universe along with a spectacular mod.
Drake's ideal are based on Zero's and the Unity is based on my own combination of Britannia, the UFN and Westeros as you will see if i ever get to making a third stage of the storyline.
