HD - "Cannot find source file" error Thread - Ultimate Edition - HD Patch & Overhaul (EN/FR/DE) mod for Knights of Honor

It's an extractor error, it can happen sometime. It's due to a lack of privilege when extracting HD UI textures. Our optimization algorithm have compress bmp files in jpeg up to 92% compression ratio then a script called extractor.bat convert jpg files to bmp. The last part of the algorithm may need some privilege with system32 so, on limited access computer it may broke.

Error :

1. When installing you see "Error. Error. Error. Error" on the black window (extractor.bat)
2. When running the game you can see UI or it force close (lack of UI)

How to fix :

Download this little zip (6MB) : Mega.nz

Unzip it and place the screens folder into images folder (in koh folder). Run the extractor.bat as administrator. See if any error occurs

Run the game.
