Kingdoms Collide is about fun and balanced online multilayer combat where a highly skilled player can always win the day, set within a beautiful fantasy setting. The player takes on a third person camera to enhance the melee combat, as to combat what we've found in FPS-camera melee games (where people run around like headless chickens unable to see their surroundings). Also, Kingdoms Collide is made to have a good range of player customization in choosing a unique weapons and skill sets that suit you - this also makes each player able to have unique role within their team hence enabling great depth in teamwork, tactics and strategy!

Okay, I'll be honest with ya:

While this release adds a lot of new content to the table in terms of fun, you have not fixed anything.. I still see the exactly same problems haunting this release, that I did in the first.

Before you add more awesome, why not polish what you have?

agreed now that they have plenty of awsome feature they should spend more time on tuning them and fixing a lot of the bugs that make people not want to play this mod.

Agreed, though I'm aware of the pains involved, I sure do.
I had this downloaded to try this, but hearing this I guess I won't bother to install it.

I know it's no fun, but it's going to make your players happy :)

Not correct, Duck - It is freakin' addictive and fun - Install it.

It is simply that we utilize glitch-like rolls to counter the insanely overpowered Masterbow, as well as other examples of stuff. Being patient and skillful still (mostly) means you can take anyone down.

But I look baffled at missing textures, random isolated areas in the map, which the players can't reach (Completely isolated, not just background stuff) and unbalanced weapons.

Ugh. I can't play for five minutes before someone breaks out the master bow or starts the 'run away and heal' tactic.

I would have thought the imbalances would be fixed. It IS the reason why this server had no servers after a couple of months of beta.

This game can be fun as long as people don't pick up the bow or abuse healing. Of course, no server would force any rules against it, besides, it's "part of the game".

Well, that part of the game is lame as F***. Fix this mod or we'll have dead servers again in a month.

Uh .. I can easily dodge bows and kill the bowmen with a sword >_> You just got to train, mate =)

It's not that I can't dodge the arrows, it's that they when I get within range, some players will run away and heal themselves until they can get back to distance or another player kills me while I'm chasing. It's a ******** tactic.

That's how healing works, however. I suggest "Imbue Ice" with your sword and then cornering them with siderolls and quick movement .. they aren't faster than you.

There are always counter-tactics, mate. If you think it's hard to reach them, use teleport.

For some reason when I try to launch it.
It starts validating steam files, and when it gets to 100% it says

"Steam servers are currently too busy to handle your request."

Any fix?

ok first, great mod, i suggest everyone try this atleast once
i had alot of fun on it last night xD

but there is one thing above all that needs to be fixed.
the spawning bug that kills half the team on alot of maps, just give a larger spawn area or anything, i think this is the bug that bothers most players tbh

edit: oh and it would be great to see a survival server up!

Enjoyed the heck out of it when playing with friends last night. A few things we collectively agreed on were:

1. On maps that are capture point based, it's a bit muddled as to what points are under your own control or the enemies. I see a little bar coming up on the bottom of the screen when in a capture area, but it doesn't do anything besides stay empty. I see the red and green colored orbs at the top, so we can tell who has how many points...But if it was clearer, that would be great.

2. Magic/Skills should have a reset button like the Weapons/Skill boosts have.

3. What's up with the Javelin toss? You can hold it to charge, but it seems incredibly more difficult to aim than magic/arrows. Plus, after being thrown, it's gone and can no longer be used. I wouldn't mind having to get used to the throw mechanic it has now if I could reliably practice, but you have to respawn to get another one after throwing it once.
