Killteam is a 5 player co-op hero defense mod similar in concept to The Last Stand. A group of 5 heroes must survive 40 randomly generated waves of progressively increasing difficulty and overcome powerful bosses to survive.

The three phase seer council boss has been added and a video of the fight has been uploaded describing how it works. This boss fight comes at wave 41, replacing the librarian boss fight which is now at wave 21, so you'll now have two boss fights to mix things up between the waves.

Shuma, who does most of the custom models for the mod, has come up with a fantastic looking chaplain, who, in addition to a tactical space marine from the "angry marines" chapter, will be the next two heroes to join the roster.


Not only did Shuma make a model for the chaplain in power armor, he also made one wearing terminator armor:


The terminator version of the chaplain will either be added alongside the power armor version or, if not, during the version immediately after.

You can but it would probably be hard to control all 5 heroes by yourself. ;) If you're looking for people to play with there's a big Steam group where you can schedule events to get some people together: Steamcommunity.com

The only Tyranid hero I have planned at the moment is a summoner using the ravener model. If you have ideas for another one suggestions are always welcome.

you may remember me from your last mod, i asked about tyranid heroes and you replied quite well and quickly, i beleave that u could have a zoanthrope (SIZE = X2 or 3 with a bit of blood on him just so you can see the diffrence) i will now explain some of the abilities i have in mind:

- an overblast ability - the usual zoanthrope blast, but with double the damage and 3 shots in a small arc.

- a phsycic blast - the zoanthropes usual blast but coming from the zoanthrope himself, like the libraians.

also u could have carnifex model and call it a hive guard (again blood markings and maby a bit larger) and here as some of the abilities:

- a charge ability - im sure i dont need to explain this.

- a spore (or whatever its called) ability - where he creates quite a phew spore mines around him.

- summon the hive ability - he summons 2 other carnifexes at his side with 3 tyrant guards in front.

those are my ideas for now, i will probably comment after myself if i get anymore, also, if u have a position for brainstorming in your team, i would like to take that position and join your team.

This is the most amazing mod I have played for DOW2. I congratulate you on all your work, as this is, in my opinion, the best mod thus far for DOW2. Can't wait to see what the updates will add. If it's this awesome already it can only get better.

Could you explain how you've got the mod setup? If it's working you'll have the Killteam victory condition available when you host a game.

It seems I'm unable to join people's games, whether they're using the mod or not. I saw a couple games open with the win condition as "killteam" but couldn't join, they were greyed-out. Likewise, I think people can't join my game. Any suggestions?

Okay, I just checked some stuff out. So I do have to invite people?

Dawn of War 2 treats mods a little funny. When you play a mod with a custom victory condition, in this case Killteam, other people without the mod playing the normal default game mode, in this case Victory Point, have their games' mode listed as Killteam in the game list.
