Sorry for not bringing any news bro, This mod is on hold due to issues with max payne.I've been working on a Fps version of Cinema 2.0 which will have a pov style first person view where you can look down at your hands and feet while reloading guns etc., you can see it here: Youtube.com

It's good to see someone is still making mods for the first max payne game! Your project looks awesome and I have saw your youtube video of your Karana mod, it was pretty diverse and awesome! But what seems to be the problem on why max payne on your end won't run, is it a software problem?
Glad to hear it.But yeah Max Payne worked fine on my old laptop but when I installed it on my new laptop it refused to work, it would act like it was loading but it never booted the mod selection menu.There is a another method I'm going try today by using a no-cd exe after I reinstall it.Which is I how I got Max payne 2 to work again when it wouldn't start.
Sorry I was late to respond. Yeah sometimes the funny thing about having a cd of the first max payne game is weird, because when you supposelly use the cd too much that it won't run anymore. But since you have a new laptop, if you have windows 10 it will run but it will have problems or you could use the steam version. But since I mod max payne, I use my old laptop with xp on it back in 2006! But maybe you need to patch your game, or to run the mods there is a sound fix patch for newer OS to run the mods, I forgot the actual web address for it. But just goggle it!
Ok I got it working again by using the no-cd.exe and setting screen buffers to double.It runs fine but now it shuts down randomly to desktop without error.I'm going to try messing around with other settings to see if I can fix it.Thanks for helping me out man.
