Killing Floor is a survival horror total conversion set in London, England.
In a laboratory under the city, a series of human experiments in cloning and biological augmentation are being conducted by the employees of "Horizon". Horizon is a BioTech corporation formerly employed by the government to do the R&D on a top secret series of synthetic combat drugs which would enhance the effectiveness of soldiers in the field.
Horizon's funding was cut, when their practices were deemed too immoral even for such a controversial project, but the research didn't stop. Funded by private money from the deep pockets of Horizon chairman and research scientist Kevin Clalemay, tests continued in a more...private location.
That was until something went wrong. There were reports that the lab had been comprimised; that the subjects were behaving abnormally...then, silence.
Several days later, twisted shapes began to emerge from the confines of the lab into the city above.

- 12+ weapons for the players to chose from, ranging from knives and fire-axes up to pump shotguns, rifles and a flamethrower

- Players choose which Perks to play with, so they can best balance out a co-op team to survive the horrors
- Open, non-linear play areas: choose when and where to fight - or run; weld doors closed to try and direct the monster horde
- Full support for Steamworks features, including Steam Achievements and Friends
- Fully-configurable, allowing players to change things as simple as the difficulty level or number of creature waves, or go so far as to set up their own favorite waves of monsters
- Includes SDK for the creation of new levels and mods
Killing Floor is now going to be a standalone game! Congrats to Alex AKA Mr. Kadish on taking his baby to retail! VE3D also has an article up with some screens. As soon as Alex is done "celebrating", I'm told we can expect an official Killing Floor game profile here on ModDB. Another win for modders!

Please someone reply I really need some help (I just got Unreal soooo yeah)
anywhoo i put the file into UT2004 folder in C:. Nice start. Then i clicked the runKF icon in the folder. This is where i get my problem !!!!!
Ok when i click on it the little Killing floor title comes up nice and neat and whatnot. but I get this error

Might want to add it to your MoDDB, I remember having a crap ton of problems the first time I tried to play this. That patch if I remember correctly solved the majority of them.
i doubt it will become standalone, and i doubt it will come to the Q3 engine.
How do I use my Unreal Tournament skins on KF, because it looks like fun to do and kill zombies as Xan, so if anyone could tell me I would really appreciate it. Great mod!
awesome mod love it. i find it a bit hard but im sure ill get used to it. wish that more ppl would play online though
It's music from the German band Rammstein, called "Bück Dich" off the record Sehnsucht. You should check Rammstein's Video for "Ohne Dich" and "Sonne". I think they are the only German band which has really cool video clips!
Does anyone know what the music is called from the trailer of killing floor 2.0? it is perfect for the game background.
It could be that you downloaded a bum copy of the game.
Try re-downloading from another mirror.
When I try to install v1.0 (I want this one for singleplayer), at the very end it says Error C:\UT2004\KFMod\Textures\KillingFloorWeapons.utx An error has occured while trying to copy a file: The source file is corrupted. Click retry to try again, Ignore to skip, and abort to stop installation. I already tried to do retry and that didn't work and when you click ignore the game won't start. Can someone please help me?
When I go to start Killing Flloor, the picture of it appears and then a window comes up and says Runtime Error! Program: C:\UT2004\system\UT2004.exe The application has requested the runtime to terminate in an unusual way. Please contact the applications support team for help. Can someone help me solve the problem?
