Killing Floor is a survival horror total conversion set in London, England. In a laboratory under the city, a series of human experiments in cloning and biological augmentation are being conducted by the employees of "Horizon". Horizon is a BioTech corporation formerly employed by the government to do the R&D on a top secret series of synthetic combat drugs which would enhance the effectiveness of soldiers in the field. Horizon's funding was cut, when their practices were deemed too immoral even for such a controversial project, but the research didn't stop. Funded by private money from the deep pockets of Horizon chairman and research scientist Kevin Clamely, tests continued in a more...private location. That was until something went wrong. There were reports that the lab had been comprimised; that the subjects were behaving abnormally...then, silence. Several days later, twisted shapes began to emerge from the confines of the lab into the city above.

So update your bookmarks accordingly. Secondly, we have been undergoing some early multiplayer beta tests (internal of course), and aside from some minor graphical issues, the mod is stable and the featureset is working flawlessly! So this is really, really good news, and it will make things alot smoother in the future because we now know what areas need more attention and what to expect when the mod gets replicated over the net.

And finally, since the demo release Killing Floor has garnered far more media attention than myself, or any of the team for that matter would have dreamed of , including PC Gamer UK , Future France, and most recently, Wired magazine! So keep your eyes peeled for Killing Floor features in your publication of choice in the near future :D

I encourage those who haven't tried the demo yet to give it a go. For those who have, and thought it was solid but wanted more, or for those who thought it was terrible and thought it needed more...You don't have to sweat, we're pushing ahead on the full release for some time this summer! (and im guessing it's not going to be late summer either ;) )

I leave you all with a snazzy desktop background !
