Kill the King (KtK) is a new mod which changes the Call of Duty 4 experience dramatically by dividing teams in two groups - assassins and guardians. At first, one lone assassin must strive to kill the king - whilst dodging the guardians. Killing a guardian will respawn him as an assassin, who can then help to kill the King.

Kill the King version 2.08 is nearly done - A testserver has been launched!

Again a some time has past since the last update for the mod and a lot of bugs have been reported.
The actual list of things which have changed within version 2.08:

- Fixed the weapon bug caused by weapon changes in gungame while beeing in a hardpoint,
- Fixed the bug which allows to use 2 position changing hardpoints at once,
- Fixed the killstreak for the king (Dvar: scr_hardpoint_king_weapon),
- Fixed the thermal vision on weapon changes caused by the gungame,
- Fixed the stickie arrows attached to players in last stand,
- Fixed the partially weapon loss after beeing revived,
- Fixed the de-/activation for the visions,
- Fixed the flyheight for ac130 and ah6,
- Fixed the textures of the RC-XD,
- Fixed the angles for the RC-XD,
- Fixed the damage of the RC-XD,
- Fixed the wallbang of the ah6,
- Fixed the empty map rotation,
- Fixed the admin bagde,
- Added a killicon for the dog,
- Added a second sniper class to the assassins,
- Added a numerical ammocounter (graphic settings),
- Added a timer to the weapon box (Dvar: scr_mod_weaponbox_picktime)
- Changed the icon of the weaponboxes,
- Changed the damage of the intervention,
- Changed some soundaliases for better volumes,
- Changed the revive icon, visible through walls now,
- Changed the spawnsystem for guards, they will now respawn close to the king,
- Changed the ammo system for the king - he will not receive ammo for claymores (etc),
- Removed 8 unnecessary fx assets,
- Removed 6 unnecessary xmodel assets,
- Removed 1 unnecessary weapon asset.

A list of things im currently working on:

- New prestige system - earn points by entering prestiges and buy stuff,
- Fixes for all things you find while playing on the testserver (ip below),
- Playing around with some settings within the codes.

A testserver was provided by the club27 clan (IP: 87.229.77.26:27005), so if you want to stop by and help finding bugs feel free to do so.
As soon as i know the update is running without bigger problems i will release it to the public!
