I am a little bit disappointed that its not going to be SP, but I'm also a big fan of Jurassic Park and a MP is much better than nothing at all. The work looks great and its always best to appreciate something your getting than get nothing and complain about it. Thanks for your hard work
me, trying to build one, are you crazy?
Lmao, no thanks.
Would these components work :S?
AMD Sempron SI-42 (2.10GHZ) processor. NVIDIA GeForce 8200M, up tp 14-7MB total available Graphics memory
That Vram on the GPU is way too low. You need atleast 512 MB I believe.
On my old piece of crap computer, before I built this new one...
I know my processor speed was under the minimum (it was single core.. pentium 1.4). The minimum was like 1.8 or 2. Anyway I was able to still run Crysis back then, on medium settings without much lag; This is because of the graphics card.
My GPU wasn't anything special, 4x AGP.. ATI Radeon X1600 pro.
But the Vram was ATLEAST 512 MB, and that is part of what made the difference. I think the GPU is probably the most important and anything under 256 is definitely just too low.
14-7 MB is just too low. I assume you have a laptop or are wanting to build on, because it says "8200M".. the M meaning mobile if I'm correct.
I'm pretty sure Source engine aka HL2 is 256 MB minimum, but even if it were only 64.. you still wouldn't have enough.. and that game is from 2004.
Well, i don't really know which computer/laptop to get, i was just wanting one that ran crysis and some other good games which provided good graphics, so I've been looking round. Would these components work instead? (Sorry that i keep asking)
Intel Pentium E2220 processor. 3GB DDR2 SDRAM memory. 320GB SATA (7200rpm) Hard Drive. ATI Radeon HD 4350 with Avivo technology, 512MB dedicated memory, upto 1791MB total available graphics memory.
Sorry for annoying you, Your help is appreciated.
The Pentium E2220 is a piece of shit.
Pentium processors are so outdated now.
Get a Intel Core 2 Duo. That is what I use, it is a 3.16 speed, and the highest is 3.30 I believe, and mine is affordable.
4-8 GB of Ram is fine, just make sure you run 64 bit Windows to take advantage of more than just 3.
Your motherboard should support no less than 8 GB and should support atleast Intel Core 2 Duo and Extreme..
This way you you can upgrade the processor later, and not have to replace the motherboard so soon.
Your motherboard does not need any onboard graphics, as you are buying a GPU to install.
You can get a bigger HDD for cheap, but that size will work fine, and SATA is great, just make sure the motherboard has enough SATA ports for your CD/DVD/Bluray, and HDDs.
A GPU with 512 MB dedicated Vram is definitely a must... anything less will likely run like shit or not run at all.
Don't get AGP, it is outdated and sucks.
Make sure you get a PCI-E GPU. 16x.
It is up to you how much you want to spend, the more money.. the better the card.
I love mine, and it is probably cheaper now..
Nvidia GeForce 9800 GX2.
Use NewEgg, going to stores like bestbuy are a rip off.
Between "no" - "barely".
Oh God, Someone help mee :L
Can someone tell me there brand of there pc, the type of it and all components?
Thankyou
It would be cheaper to just put it together yourself. Almost everything is plug and play these days so if you can install memory you can install CPU/Graphics/Power Supply. Just buy a good motherboard and add the best parts you can afford. If I can do it so can you!!!!
I have to correct you on warhead.
The term for Crysis: Warhead is actually "Rental" A game is something you can Infinately install on your computer, Warhead is not. Mercenaries 2 was the last game I ever bought from EA and I said fuck off to them after they released the horrible dickhead game warhead and Crysisters Wars. I hope someone creates a boycott EA group because that would be worth joining.
If I purchase a game that only allows a few installs I go download a crack. Nobody will set rules for something I purchased.
