Based on the novel and film of the same name.
Play as,
It is August 1993, and you're trapped on Isla Nublar.
Upon reaching The Main Compound, you must restore power and control to the facility, rescue others, and finally call for help and escape.
This is achieved through puzzle based gameplay, some of which relies on team work.
You will face a couple of foes along the way;
Some of your foes may be not be living, like a dangerous electrical death trap.
The Main Compound will feature,
The Visitors Center (interior), The Raptor Pen, Safari Lodge, and other facilities, with beautiful outdoor jungle.

4 months ago I set a deadline for Dec 1st. It was a very tight deadline, because it left no room for screwing around. We had to work dedicated every moment we had to spare, for the next 4 months.. to make sure we'd see a release by Dec 1st.
However, for almost a month there was no progress on anything.
No updates to the Visitors Center, no updates to the characters.
Matthew Hodge had vanished, and looked like Muldoon would have to be redone from scratch by Adam.
Andriy disappeared again, when he was assigned to make Ellie Sattler. He still hasn't come back online, perhaps cause of his schooling.
And Adam was gone from the scene was well.
I had 4 people on my team stop working or working less at the same time. I still kept the deadline up, and insisted we'd just double our efforts, but its impossible.
We are nearly finishing Ian Malcolm and Robert Muldoon right around the deadline itself, but not Ellie Sattler. Not the dinosaurs.
But perhaps the biggest issues is actually not our artwork, but the CryEngine. Why?
Because even with our total assets not finished, we still have enough to release a beta demo.
Some basic gameplay, testing, etc. Why can't this be done for Dec 1st at least though?
CryEngine 2. That is why. Because cooperative gameplay in CE2 does not exist. People have to attempt to do a work around just to make it work.
There are at least 2 people I know who have done this, and both have been totally unreliable as a source for this mod.
1. Future Warrior; Willing to help us, especially after what happened with Fudsine, but lacks the most basic basic discipline to do anything, like the simple task of sending or responding to an email.
According to him he chooses not to respond purposely because he's in the "marines"; and he also claims now that he helps Fudsine, even though he IMs me and bashes Fudsine and offers me his help after he reads a post on Crymod, where I'm explaining what a douche bag Fudsine is.
So sorry Future Warrior, you're not lazy, you're just a dick wod.
2. Fudsine. Long story short, infantile prepubescent ego maniac. If you want to know what I mean, just try and use his A.I.
And with Fudsine, there are still horrific limitations to the A.I.
My idea for JP MP would not be possible without huge sacrifices, because his A.I. is truly only show.
Future Warrior claimed his didn't have the same issues, but then again I never saw actual proof, only a video of zombies which seemed to be able to focus only on one subject.
So I do not believe either of these dudes have actually accomplished the kind of clean working A.I. you'd expect in a cooperative game.
To make matters worse, I'm hearing about the Lost World Returns leaving CE2 because of animation and AI problems with dinosaurs. That just brings me more comfort to using CE2.
I tell you, if CE2 wasn't such a piece of shit; if there was more to this engine than bugs and eye candy... we'd probably have something for you today.
Then again perhaps if I can sacrifice the eye candy, I can move to an engine that is less problematic, if such an engine exists.

the fingers are just WAY too long.. he looks like an ape :D
great model otherwise though..
why not make this a indi game why you put this for crysis?
Because creating a custom engine is ALOT of work and would almost certainly become vaporware. I've tried the indie game approach already, and it is a bad move.
also if you look at indie games their graphics arne't as good as a regular mod's graphics because they are created from scratch, on a mod on the other hand they use the game's graphics, physics, ect. and it just turns out better usually and there's the fact of time, how much time you spend on your project and in Full scale games (like Call of Duty) there's usually like 50 ppl working on it and here on ModDB it's more like 10
It'd also be hard for them to come up with an environment rendering engine anywhere close the the Cry2 engine. THis is a good move and probably the most original and Interesting Crysis mod since Mechwarrior Living Legends. Keep up the good work guys, don't let needy fans push you to release something that isn't finished, either Please.
Actually, outdoing CryEngine 2's rendering is not that hard considering that majority of superior rendering techniques have already been done, as far back as the 80s, just some haven't been made into real-time.
And on top of that, CE2 is already years old. You have to think back to the year it started production and what year we are in now.
When we were doing Maoli, we did out due it in ATLEAST a few areas, such as lighting; we were using a full deferred rendering system.
But you see, there is a lot more to CE2 than just its rendering.
There is the programming for the editor itself, all the game entities and tools, networking, etc etc.
When you're making an engine there is alot more to do than just making a real-time renderer.
There is also the artwork involved, making vegetation.
If it wasn't such a dangerous move, I'd do a custom engine over CE2 any day cause I'm personally not very fond of CE2 or some of Crytek's decisions.
But to do the level of quality that is being done for our Visitors' Center, we need CE2.. Source just would be too problematic, even if I used google sketchup to beat the terrible limited grid in Hammer.
This mod looks absolutely amazing. I've been waiting ever since the release of the movie for a video game that could do it justice and I believe you guys are building just that. I noticed under enemies you only list a select few. I seem to remember there being a giant prehistoric bird cage in the book. That part could add more enemies and substance. On another note, will you guys be creating herbivores that the players can encounter in game?
WARS NOT WAS STUPID!!!
haha, just tease
Oh, I know that, I'm just saying that if its multiplayer, which it is, its better for the Wars version to be used, rather than the vanilla Crysis version. ;)
Yeah, well since Wars is dedicated to MP then it would be a good choice and you have the possibility of an fps increase as well so....
