This Fence post is a 100% replica of the prop used in the movie.
Go ahead and compare it yourself :D

It still isn't textured, but it is rigged for animation.
One issue though is that it isn't quite accurate enough yet. It needs to look more like this.

So this T-rex model needs a bit more work if we are going to have it looking like a replica.

hey awesome mod i also have a Jurassic Park based mod going
Didn't post here before, but I watch this mod since it's very beggining. I expect much from this mod; the models are just great, way better than any I had seen anywhere else. I would say that this mod is gonna be so astonishing that it will capture the imagination of any JP fan out there... ;)
Keep the good job up, and bring us more updates! \o/
this mod is awesome i love it!
Keep up the good work. Ive always wish that Jurassic Park will see the light of gaming once again. (Trespasser was actually a really interesting game). I'd like to see a lot of the original locations and possible a really awesome single player. :)
Good work!
oh wait, you ARE the other guy lol sorry about that
Work of three of us, I built up the original (you can see a picture of it in context), then Chris started converting it to 3Dmax and he has another guy who finished it up beautifully... added a bit more detail, but we had the pen pretty much the way we wanted it from the start :)
Yeah, it was nice before, we were originally going to just replace a few portions with .MDL in the Source engine; Since we moved to Crysis though, it was difficult to transfer the Hammer version of the Raptor Pen. It was made of brushes for the Source engine, which when exported are all flipped. Their no draw faces would all have to be deleted manually for optimization, and even worse... being brushes.. after you would model them correct, they were distorted once the file was saved. The distortion just added to it being not worth the trouble, so it seemed easier to just start from scratch.
all due credit to the new pen team, of course!
i know, i'm the one thats making it XD
