Carnivores 2 Mod based on Jurassic Park, The Lost World Jurassic Park and Jurassic Park 3 films.
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Download the zip file.
- Extract the files.
- Go to the folder called JPH Legends, inside you will find the JPH Legends icon (that one is the .exe file). If you want, you can create a game shortcut on your desktop: Right-click the executable file (the JPH Legends icon), and then click Create Shortcut. You can move that Shortcut on your desktop and it is ready!
- Right click on that JPH Legends Icon and set the compatibility for Windows 98 / ME, then select apply and accept .
- Double Left click on .exe file and you are running the game!
IMPORTANT:
- The mod Will work fine if you go to OPTIONS, then go to AUDIO DRIVER and select DIRECT SOUND 3D. After that, go to VIDEO DRIVER and select DIRECT 3D. For a better game experience, you can enable 3D shadows, change the textures and resolution too.
- An alternate VIDEO DRIVER is 3DFX GLIDE. Use it Just in case that you have issues when you run the game with Direct3d Render. To enable this render, go to VIDEO DRIVER and select 3DFX GLIDE.
WARNING!
- Once you selected 3DFX GLIDE and you run the game, some Windows (Windows 10 specially ) could tell you that this 3DFX render is a virus but we tested this render and isn't a virus like Windows says. We really don't know why some Windows do it. If you have issues with 3DFX render, tell us.
- DO NOT RUN THE MOD IN SOFTWARE MODE OR THE GAME WILL NOT WORK FINE.

For some reason v_3dfx has constant problems when using the sniper rifle, could you tell me why?
Use 3dfx with 1024x768 resolution. Maybe it can fix this problem.

what game is this for?
This is a mod for Carnivores 2, a dinosaur hunting game.
I downloaded the file & got a game. Is the whole file a game mod?. I do apologise. I normally have more knowledge on this kind of tech stuff.
I'm so used to mods being an attachment of some sort.
The whole file is the game mod.
Pretty good. I recognize some JPOG stuff in there. So far only thing is that Parasaurs and Dilophosaurs seem really sensitive to sight and sound, almost like they are seeing me through the terrain or something, I can't even crouch walk to them until they are barely in viewing distance, then they take off running or sometimes the Dilo's will see me and attack. All the bars in the option menu are set half-way.
What are the cheats for this game? I cannot get debugup or debugon to work. Great game though. Thanks!

Debugup only works if you run the game in software render.

Right Click on the JPH Legends.exe Icon, then go to Properties - go to Compatibility. In that window, select Compatibility mode for Windows98/Me and mark the white square next to that option.
Then, click Apply and OK.
The vegetation is not rendering properly what can I do?
Go to options and Set the video in Direct 3D.
If it doesnt work, download the file 3DFX (go to addon section here)and install/set it in game (read the description).
The dilophosaurus and velociraptor they glichean when I shoot them and when they kill me fix it plzz
That happens when you run the game in software render.
To solve it ,go to Options - in video driver choose DIRECT 3D or 3DFX GLIDE, then go back and restart game(CHOOSE 3DFX GLIDE IN CASE THAT THE GAME DOESN'T WORK WITH DIRECT 3D RENDER).
Dude, this is just fantastic! This is how dinosaurs are suppose to look! I love the menu and the trophy room too!

How i install this mod?
Hi!
Download the file and unzip it.
Then,go inside JPH Legends folder and look for the mod icon (it is the .exe file that you could add it to the desktop as a mod shortcut by doing right click on it and select "create a shortcut", take that shortcut and put it in the desktop).
VERY IMPORTANT:in the .exe file, right click on it and select the compatibility mode for Windows 98/ME,then apply and accept.
Also, when you run the mod remember to go to options - video driver - and select DIRECT 3D or 3DFX GLIDE (if Direct 3D doesnt work).
when i start it it says "heap allocation error" and how do i select the compatibility mode for windows 98/ME

Try this solution:
In main menu, go to options - look for AUDIO DRIVER and select DIRECT SOUND 3D.
The,go back and exit game.
Restart the game again,choose the dino and weapons,select hunt.

hello is there any way i can get infinite points cause for me its really impossible to kill a single dino lol
its almost impossible to kill a para is there someway i can get like points? i think i said this before please dont get angry with me :-<
An easy way to kill a dino is by shooting on his mortal spot (displayed with red colour in a black shape when you choose the dino to hunt in menu).
The dinosaurs die suddenly by one shot once you Hit in mortal spots.
If you want to earn more points easily, go To JPH Legends folder - then go to HUNTDAT - go to _RES file, scroll down at
the end and you will see a list with numbers - beneath prices{, you will see start = 50 - change this value to a higher one (5000 for example).
Then, upwards there is the file option - go there and select save.
Close this file.
When you start the game, don't choose your current profile.
You should make a new profile in Registration menu to obtain the cheated points.

Try to set video mode in Direct 3D (from main menu Options) and run the game to see if it works fine.
there's some problems i think it needs to be fixed somehow,
1. The Velociraptor Dilophisoauras when I kill them, It acts like it jumps and then it stopped, when It kills me, it acts like I killed him...
2. The T-Rex doesn't hurt me, unless If I wounded him, or shoot with any weapon without targeting at him...

1) Go to OPTIONS - VIDEO DRIVER - select DIRECT3D (if it doesn't work, select 3DFX) - Then EXIT and restart game.
2) that's really strange, the only way that you have is: go to OPTIONS - in AGRESSIVITY move the button to right (so you will upgrade dinosaurs attack level).
Ei Tormer you made great frikin work with this game,the graphics are good,no crashes,and dinos from my favorite game JPOG,oh an by the way can you please remake the Spino's eye hit box ?I was legit shooting him in there with everything and nothing worked,and also I tried to hunt him in water and he couldnt hit me and thats how i was farming.So just fix these things and those weapon models cause the hands are both more darker or lighter.So yeak,you mage a grat,great game and I hope everybody is gonna enjoy it.

The mod can be updated to be better.
However, i have to modify source code to make that spinosaurus kill hunter while he is floating.
I mod source code too, so i will see what can i do with that problem.
