1980: John Hammond leases Isla Nublar to build Jurassic Park. 1981: Construction on an amphitheater in San Diego starts. 1982: Isla Sorna is leased; Jurassic Park San Diego is abandoned, half-finished. 1992: The events of Jurassic Park occur; the island is deemed restricted. 1993: Isla Sorna is abandoned, and the animals released. 1997: A small group is sent by John Hammond to Isla Sorna to stop the capture of dinosaurs by a group of hunters led by Hammond's nephew. 1998: A woman named Anne crash-lands on the island and makes her way to the summit to be rescued. 2002: President George W. Bush secretly orders a government inspection of a rumored facility in the Atacama Desert in South America. This is where our story begins...
