Flashback to the destruction of Taris at the hands of Darth Malak.
4,000 years ago Darth Malak ordered the bombardment of Taris in order to prevent Bastila from escaping the planet. Wiping out almost everything, leaving the city in ruins. By the time of JKG however, much is still in ruins, but rebuilding effort has been going on for some time. Look for some future videos showing how Taris shortly after the birth of the empire would look. From ruins to the large ocean on Taris, there will be many new places to see and explore in JKG.
