Jedi: Timeline
Starting 25,000 years before “Episode 4 ‘A New Hope” The Old Republic is formed among the Core Worlds and Jedi Knights first appear. 5,000 years later a large number of Jedi Knights are expelled from the Old Republic after becoming obsessed with the Dark Side of the force. After wandering for sometime, they come across the humanoid beings known as the Sith and enslave the species. The dark siders then become known as the Lords of the Sith.
For many millennia the Jedi know as “the light side” has been the keepers of the peace. Fighting the enemy the Sith Lord in furious battles all along history, and eventual destruction of the dark site, or have they.
This mod will span the full history of the republic all the way from the Sith Era to the New Jedi Order. It will be a SP, and MP mod where you will be able to play as a vast number of characters, with many different weapons. I am sure many of you are asking yourself, “will I be able to fly a X-Wing?” Well the answer is yes. We are planning on implementing space battles. Some of the places you will be able to recognize but many will be new to you. That is if you have not ready the books.

The Jedi: Timeline team here with another update for you. And boy is it a big one. We slacked off a bit on the holidays but hey that’s what a vacations for right. But after that was over we got right back to work. I am going to keep this post short and to the point. Below you will find a few new models, a few new skins, and some good press.
The three new models we have on display today are the “AT-ST” modeled by Our Lead modeler Saruman, “Boba Fetts blaster rifle” by the newest member Joe, and the “Slave 1” by the talented Chems.
Next you will find the two new skinned models the “Shuttle “ skinned by the co-lead of JT expjames, and then the Naboo Starfighter by Dimsum.
Next you will find the two big things for JT. First you see a page from PC Gamers “The ultimate Shooter Guide” debut issue. The named us one of Half-Life 2’s “Mods to watch.” That is a great honor to the team. But if that was not enough we have you all to think for this next thing. Moddb.com held a players choice awards called “2004 Golden Spanner Mod of the Year Awards.” It ran for 2 months, 8 thousand votes and 1.4 million mod profile visitors. And we came out on top ranked #1 for Best Non-player Models. It’s great to know that I am not the only one that thinks Jedi: Timeline’s models kick ass.

this mod sounds like it is going to be cool. are you going to have lightsabers in the game?
We have emailed them, and still are looking for a reply. But they do let mods run, such as troopers mod for UT2k4
what is your mods legal status? Is lucas allowing you guys to make the mod, or what?
noone on the team is bored, we are working long and hard. And all the skins are staying unreleased for a time. But I may toss in one on the next release.
Get those models skinned, tha'tll make it seem like you have something more than bored modelers and concept artists.
