Half-Life 2 mod | Released May 3, 2008
Jailbreak is modification for Half-Life 2, it's simple: Two teams, two jails. When you kill a member of the opposite team, they respawn, locked up inside your jail. When a member of your team is killed, they respawn inside the enemy jail.
Your objective is to imprison every member of the enemy team. The twist is, you can break out members of your own team, by fighting your way to the enemy jail and opening the doors! The game goes back and forth until one team is entirely locked up, the losers executed (in a variety of customised ways) then the next round begins!

Today we continue the build up to the release of Jailbreak 0.4 with four new pictures from IZaNaGI's new map, Iridium. The map is set on a space-ship, in the middle of an epic space battle, with the damaged ship under attack from Combine forces as the Rebels attempt to regain control.
So what's different about this map you ask? An entirely new game mode, that's what! Instead of straight forward Jailbreak, this new map revolves around rescuing your teams VIP. At the start of each round, one team member is randomly selected from each team and placed in Jail, the goal of the map is to break that team member out of jail, and return them safely to the rescue zone.

Really sorry to disappoint you buddy, we've had a delay caused by a crash discovered in the linux build of the mod. As 7 of the 8 servers we have lined up for release are linux based, we unfortunately have had to hold off for a few days to fix it, test it again and ensure it's all working well before releasing. We want the mod to run as smoothly as possible for you... It's finished though, so don't worry, and as soon as we're good to go, you'll be the first to know!
