Half-Life 2 mod | Released May 3, 2008
Jailbreak is modification for Half-Life 2, it's simple: Two teams, two jails. When you kill a member of the opposite team, they respawn, locked up inside your jail. When a member of your team is killed, they respawn inside the enemy jail.
Your objective is to imprison every member of the enemy team. The twist is, you can break out members of your own team, by fighting your way to the enemy jail and opening the doors! The game goes back and forth until one team is entirely locked up, the losers executed (in a variety of customised ways) then the next round begins!

You asked for it! We listened! Today we're releasing the shortly awaited patch for Jailbreak: Source 0.4, with many new fixes, features and updates... the majority of which have been requested, inspired and driven by our community!
The main change to gameplay is the new dynamic point scoring system, meaning that if you kill someone with 100 points, you get 10 points etc! Now go get hunting those high scoring players... they're worth more now! You'll also be pleased to hear that the Grenade Exploit is fixed!

Gangs and Clans:
We've just kicked off a Gang/Clan Leaderboard! Currently there are six gangs participating, and one of our community members (nyght) is running a server especially for the matches. If you fancy joining one of the gangs, or even starting your own, then get on over to our Gangland forums and sign up! Playing Jailbreak in a gang is one of the best ways to experience the game, plus you get to meet new friends!

looks cool. one thing which lets it down is the player models. with all the custom weapons and textures youd expect to see something other than reskinned rebels and combine. still, good job especially with the maps :D

i like the idea of the game and the gameplay; the only thing i really don`t like are the weapon skins...

People might be getting fed up of the fact that in situations where you have to stack boxes theres always someone who will pull away the bottom box whilst your standing on it.
Really needs to be tweaked so the gravity/weight of someone standing on a box stops ppl from pulling boxes underneath them away.
We seem to have been bowled over by the TF2 updates. The best way to get some good games is to join our Steam Community, and watch out for the events, or join one of the six Jailbreak Clans and get some action that way!
Either way, most nights between 7:00pm and 11:00pm GMT there's normally 2 or 3 active/full servers.
