Half-Life 2 mod | Released May 3, 2008
Jailbreak is simple: Two teams, two jails. When you kill a member of the opposite team, they respawn, locked up inside your jail. Lose, and you get executed!
Your objective is to imprison every member of the enemy team. The twist is, you can break out members of your own team, by fighting your way to the enemy jail and opening the doors! Likewise, your team mates can also escape through dangerous puzzles and routes!

Izanagi, our newest Inmate, mapper and texturiser extraordinaire has been hard at work proving his worth... and proved his worth he has! Below you can catch the first glimpse of some of the new content, currently being incorporated into Jailbreak Version 0.4!
Next week we'll be releasing some more media too, showcasing one of the new maps in development: DeepCore! Look out for it soon!

this mod looks awesome. just make sure to get more publicity. Ballmen is one of the best HL2 mods out there, and it is nearly dead because no one knew about it.
Yeah Ballmen is a lot of fun but seems to be suffering from a lack of players, but i know from experience, if you sit in a server for five minutes, it soon fills up.
News of Jailbreaks release (which may i add is VERY close now) will be submitted to all of the major HL2 news sites and we have a pretty decent amount of exposure already (infinitely better than our last release,) so were expecting a good turnout.
Opps... I mean to say 3.1 version of JB.
This mod looks really. I can't wait to play it. I've tried playing the 3.0 version and there was a server running but I was having probz connecting to it with a "version difference error" even though the server and the PB files I had installed were the same.
If your problem is that it says your map is different from the servers, you just have to go to the map folder and delete it, it should download it when you join the server, you may have to do it for all the maps.
Actually, to get around this you have to right click on your Steam tray icon and go to Servers, and use that browser to join a Jb 3.1 server. Of course, in 4.0 this will not be necessary. ;)
