well i have to say i tried the 1st version and gave up, bad choice... i tried this .4 and love it ! its an odd twist on gameplay and a breath of fresh air, although i know its from quake1 days but still fun to play something thats not a realism sim

Have you actually played it or are you just being a troll? I think that's pretty undeserved criticism personally.
If you're going to criticise something, at least be specific, what's crap and why? How can it be improved?
Saying something is generally crap helps no one.
Man, how many times are we going to explain this to people like them? This is getting old guys. CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM! If you don't know what either of those words mean, there's a helpful website called www.dictionary.com
I may be acting like a douche, but I'm seriously tired of seeing a bunch of people dissing other people's hard work and not explaining why. Once again, I re-iterate that this is your OPINION. Now, if you truly believe that said textures are crap, then why don't you help out and give 'em some brand spankin' new textures? I personally, in my own opinion, think the textures are fine. Maybe not the highest resolution, but certainly better than some I've seen.
Seriously though, this un-constructive criticism is starting to become a problem. Don't force them to make a front page sticky on how to comment. That would be sad.

Well that's your opinion mate, but to be honest with ya mate, working on all the skins in some way or another i couldn't give a toss what you think. There over the top, cartoony and exactly how we wanted them to look, so your opinion is completely moot. Go troll elsewhere ;)
Glad everyone else seems to be enjoying the experience we have provided, a lot of work has gone into making it an almost total conversion and it's all been done for you guys/gals!

I think they did a good job for a custom skin that isn't trying to be "realistic".
People pay less attention at the effort and more on results. I think it's sad, especially if they don't give proper criticsms.

Kickass mod, first i've played in a while and glad it was this one. Had a blast and it wasn't too hard to figure out what to do after about 5mins of play.

Nice mod. Is this the Source/HL2 version of Open-Source Jailbreak (Half-Life 1), 'cause the name, gameplay, objectives and rules are all similar?

Well since I finally got HL2 back on the computer I shall now be able to have a full crack at this later.
I had a crack at it. Man I suck. I think I need a few solid hours play on to really feel like I could get anywhere except jail within ten seconds of play.

Hehe :) Yeah some of my animations are a bit on the simple side, the AK is my favourite... I'll be re-animating all the weapons up to the AK's standard for 0.5 :D
Fantastic work guys! The mod has evolved a lot since the last time I saw it. Played it waaaaay back when there was nothing custom, apart from the maps and the gamemode, no servers were up so my interest died for the mod. Now that I take a look at it, it looks freaking amazing! Great work, downloading as I'm typing. Gonna be a nice change to see some servers up for this now!

Heh I played it for like an hour, and I can say it is one of the most fun mods that are out there.
The new weapons, and the medigun are great!
Funny how every round, the two teams quickly switched places, and they all camped near the others jail. So when you got killed, you were always released instantly.
Yeah we've been trying to figure out how to deal with that.
It doesn't *always* happen, but it does defeat the purpose of the game a little when it does.
We're considering a lockdown mode where you can no longer release your team after the round lasts a certain amount of time.
Always loved the mod since 0.2 and it still keeps its freshness with the new weapons and textures/models, and the game never lost its fast paced action! There is just one problem that I keep having I don't know if its me, steam, or the mod but I keep getting kicked due to "Client timed out" and "Could not connect to VAC servers" is anyone else having this problem or a way I can fix this?

Well, I just gave it a quick look around in my own private server and it looks like it'd be pretty fun.
The new weapons are pretty cool and sound great. But a lot of the perspectives are messed up and they look like they're being aimed to the far left of the screen. I get a tiny headache when trying to aim em. But I can tell you guys put a lot of effort into the mod so good job! Keep it up!
