Itano Circus is a fast paced amalgamation of Freespace, Ace Combat, and Macross. From Freespace I take the general gun layout and the way the guns behave in general. From Ace Combat I take the excellent missile-based gameplay, as well as numerous Ace Combat inspired special effects improvements. And from Macross I get the beautiful ambience of the battle with the ambient explosions, flak, and last but not least, the micro-missile.
Not a mod I ever would want to install again. The graphics back then were nice but the gameplay way too chaotic.

One of my favorite mods of all time for Freelancer.
Only thing I'd love to see different in this is the replacement of the ships with Macross-like or Ace Combat-like counterparts to better add to the feel of the overall game.
Makes the combat fast and brutal with a perfectly balanced gun/missile system. Lack of multiplayer support is an unfortunate flaw.
I really liked how intence the battles were with this mod. I usually have a ship stacked with missiles and launch as many as i can as fast as i can :D
