My intention with Isolation is to create a non linear story that will require exploration and puzzle solving to progress. The idea of being in a large place such as a castle or mansion and genuinely having to explore its different rooms rather than simply traveling from level to level appeals to me, though I admit it is an ambitious challenge given how the Amnesia engine works. I'm confident I can accomplish it though.
The story will hopefully have a creepy, intense atmosphere about it, I will hopefully be making use of alternative music so players are less likely to guess whats coming. It will be set in April 1986, though I wont be making use of custom entities, flashlights, etc, as I dont want to do a full conversion.
