Well increased aspect ratio for extreme resolutions (Im still stuck with 1024x768, but monster machines will like it), increased FOV.
Didnt understand when you wrote about the performance matrix james, could that possibly mean an increase of the number of entities and effects ingame? since the game would probably tell our computers to "take it all"(with some limits i belive)

I removed your double post. The EGO engine upgrade allows more Static Objects, more trees, more vehicles, more weapons, and more buildings to be displayed on screen at one time, but this is not the performance matrix.
The Performance Matrix is where the game decides your computer is only good enough to have say medium graphics options even though your computer is really powerful. The change just makes the Low/Medium/High graphics options always give the lowest or highest values the game can take, regardless of your computer
My aspect ratio always defaults to 5:3 and when I change it in-game the game crashes. Any ideas?
I'm running 2560x1440 natively.

Hi.I was actually able to fix it just now!
I deleted the whole game folder in steam/steamapps/common,and the whole documents/my games/OFDR folder.Its not enough to just uninstall the game.
Then i installed the game,downloaded the mods enabler,unzipped it and copied it to the game folder.
And then i downloaded IW2017 and just followed the readme file included.

The game ran nicely after fixing it but i didnt really like playing it for some reason...
Maybe il like the main campaign better,and get more into it that way.

jamesdickinson963 I found a bug, When I installed this (only this mod file) my controller's right stick wouldn't do the focus action and instead would go prone and if pressed again it would go on a weird camera mode
For those using controller, do not use this. The new config.dat file breaks the controller. When you press the right stick it doesn't focus anymore, it makes you go prone and if you click it again it breaks the game you can't move anymore with controller or mouse + keyboard.
If I try to change any of the graphics settings, the game crashes to desktop. Is this normal behavior?

It's now 2023 and no one has figured out how to run this piece of **** mod with this piece of **** game without crashing? Jesus ******* Christ, I really have a new-found appreciation for the dumpster fire that is modern gaming. At least you can work with those to SOME degree without some witchcraft from **** knows where inexplicably preventing things from working in a manner that would confuse Doctor ******* Strange
