Iron Horizon is a storyline-driven action adventure mod. Taking place in a steampowered, industrial world, you must bravely venture forward towards your destiny...
Two models that shall be making their appearance in the mines.
This is a wrecked steampowered engine that pulls the mining carts around the endless labrynth of tunnels. When the mine was left a century ago, the machinery was abandoned and slowly fell apart.
Modeling by Giles-ruscoe.
Best mod ever, of all time.
Well of course.
Agreed.
Every good Source mod gets called "best mod ever." This isn't the first "best mod ever," nor was Dear Esther, Raindrop, Black Mesa etc...
EDIT: Don't get me wrong, it's a really cool and original mod. Just saying.
I dont think he was serious lol. Its pretty obvious that we dont even come close to comparing with mods like Dear Esther or Black Mesa.
Didn't mean it like that, you guys are doing a great job and from what has been seen so far, I think your mod will be great. :)
DUDE! that is amazing!
I was about to say that it's very nice but it looks like it's about to fall apart, then I read the description and found that "about to fall apart" is exactly what it's supposed to look like.
Nice job!
Glad to hear it!
Thanks ;)
The beauty in these models for me, stems from how unique and original the designs are ( and I just plain like the way they look on Source ). Who's working the colors here, 'cause they're really working well with the theme !
This actually isnt in source, its still in the modeling program.
Sadly this is just a render, but with my terribly bad lighting, so no doubt they will look better in source. Textures/colours were done by me for this model, rust is the one thing i can do well :p
Whoops ! I'm looking forward to seeing them later on then.
Looks really good. Nice job
I like it quite a lot.
I really like this one, what program was it made in?
Blender, I believe.
