Today we are releasing the official trailer of Iron Grip: The Oppression.

For the past weeks we've been hard at working towards a stable Beta, and we are very close.
We recorded the shots during Alpha-testing and then spend a good portion of time on creating this trailer.
We all hope you enjoy the trailer, and hopefully it illustrates the gameplay and setting well.

Also, on another note Michael Persinger, and Liza Ochoa have successfully created our new website, with many new or expanded features.
There are also many more community add-ons like the Weekly Cartoon, by artist LatKa X-Treme.

I think my only beefs were that the walking and the movement of the tanks around corners didn't seem fluid enough (the tank just seemed jerky).

Other than that, this was a great trailer, with quite a high production value to it, and sure to get practically anyone excited if they catch a look at it. Good work, guys. Can't wait for the final product. ;)

One thing I would say - sort the sound clippng out. All your weapons sounds going off together make my headphones (and Source) hurt. This is something to do with additive sounds in Source, eg alot of sounds happening all at once, and I think lowering the weapons sound levels in the engine is not enough - I have this problem with CSS sometimes too, but the likelihood of this occuring in IG is far greater because of the RTS element. Some changing of the sound engine might be needed methinks.

Anyway the rest is great stuff, nice work

I loved the trailer, very nice video editing.

My biggest issue is that it has been compressed to death and the framerate is very low.

Could you have a torrent of a nicer, cleaner version?

Maybe I'll just wait for the game :p

The train at the end of the opening sequence was very cool, but the low framerate really brought the rest down. I'm finding it hard to judge quality with all of the compression and jerkiness. I'm sure it will turn out great regardless. :)
