FRAGFEST 2008
This Saturday, June 21st, and next Saturday, June 28th, we encourage you to play IRON GRIP: THE OPPRESSION with seasoned players, including the company's community manager, Monique. During this time period, we up bandwidth for our servers and monitor them with care to bring the best IG:TO experience possible.
WHEN?
The event starts at 3PM EST (Eastern Standard Time, e.g. New York) on Saturday, June 21st, 2008. That's 8PM GMT. Here's a handy timezone converted if you don't know when that is.
Please note it's also going on next Saturday, June 28th, 2008 so if you can't make it, don't worry!
WHERE?
The event takes place Isotx's official servers, which show when you look for servers in-game. While there are more than one, the main one is 66.103.147.83 and is where people will initially be gathering.

WHY?
Because Iron Grip is a fun mod, and it's more fun with more people. Bring your friends and say hello to us there. We're also taking feedback, so now is a great time to get your voice heard.

I would but team fortress 2 free weekend is on :S may take a tiny break.
Unfortunately we decided to do it every Saturday without realizing TF2 free weekend would be happening :(
If you're doing it every Saturday it's fine, the free weekends for TF2 only happens when they release a new update, so Saturdays are fine.
Yeah, we do it every Saturday, I just wanted to try to get more people out this Saturday...
We had about 30 or so last Saturday on 3 servers, and the first one only had a full server, so hopefully this Saturday can be more like last :D
How long will you guys be playing for?
2-3 hours usually... it depends if people leave or not. We've done it for the past 2 saturdays :)

Sounds good. I downloaded the mod once before but wasn't able to find any servers with people on them. I really hate when that happens. So I'll give this a go. Great idea.
I always thought this was one of the better hl2 mods (Other than being spawned way out in the docks). Too bad it fell off like it did.
I'm there already
Id play, but steam has been sayin "fuck you" to me lately with an error message sayin "Unable to load SteamUI localization file" If anyone knows what this is and how to fix it, plz tell me. Steam support is no help, I put in the question on how to fix it 4 days ago and not a word from them yet.
I think with 10 people playing, bugs and the need to optimise the netcode started to show through. I really hope you guys pick this up again.
