Intrusion Patch - Source SDK 2013
Patch 2 commentsThis patch fixes most issues related to engine branch incompatibility and is designed to run using the latest "Beta" of Source SDK Base 2013 Singleplayer...
A short trip, an ode to the shotgun, and a game made to celebrate the ever-blissful gutfilled splash of shotgun + Antlion. Made in two weeks, + another week of tweaking. Comments and criticisms appreciated. Note: requires Half Life 2: Episode 2 to play.

Here is a complete playthrough of this mod, feel free to use the footage for whatever!
This was WAAAAAY to hard I had to god mode in EASY!
The ending was very dissapointing you detonate the bomb to destroy the antlion guardian but then he kills you -_-.
I give it 7/10.
btw good job with the mapping.
No SPOILERS pleASE! Dude...
You just spoiled the mod for players who haven't played it yet by writing clearly about what happens in the end of the mod. Thanks for not writing a SPOILER ALERT sign.
HOW DO I F*CKING FINISH THIS
THE ANTLIONS RESPAWN INSTANTLY AND ALL AT THE SAME TIME
Never mind, I figured it out.
Great mod I loved how it felt so outside... Yet still inside. FANATICAL lighting, too!
Nice one. Bit short and a bit annoying at times, but nice ideas and a great ending. 8/10!
Ah, make that 9/10 :-)
Nice level design, interesting setting, and the eerie writing on the walls was a nice touch, reminiscent of Portal.
The only significant negative I came across was the ending was a bit too hard. Hard in the wrong way, I mean. I dropped down into the pit without taking the turrets with me the first time, and there's no way to get back out once you enter it, meaning I was doomed and had to reload. It's really not obvious that you have to take the turrets with you, and not allowing the player to backtrack is just bad design.
It took me a while to work out I had to take the turrets with me, but once I worked it out I moved the turrets down the tunnel bit by bit, keeping them in a rough line and using them to push the Antlions back. I'm proud to say I managed the end without cheating (on hard, no less).
So, Intrusion is good - above average, but a few flaws hold it back. 8/10 (I'd give it an 8.6 if this site allowed increments)
