Well, the bass is like super boring, so the drums. Put some rhythm in it, make for it an intro, a bridge, a main riff, an ending and stuff. It's not good, but you are improving, it definitely a lot better than the older versions.
About the drums. Listen to them. It will improve your hearing. Watch more stuff about patterns, drum improvs, concentrate on the drums while listening to a song. Trust me, it will improve your drums. Youtube.com Youtube.com
I think you know what's the mistake in the bass. Change notes. The bass is basicly to improve the rhythm, (or) to make a sub-sound between the drums and the guitar. To improve, same thing goes as for the drums. Listen to the instrument, concentrate on it.
After a while, you hear them both equally.
Knowing a lot about many instrument is required if you do your music alone. Also, learn a bit about music theory(dunno the english word for it, you it's about EFGABCDE and other things, it's pretty easy).
