one thing you can keep is the russian mosin nagants from the original game. the Talibs are still using those in Afghanistan today... also we (or rather the USMC) use the m16a4 with a RCO (ACOG)... just saying. great work i will be glad to see the final product!

Just curious, but why is the taliban a faction? This is about Iraq right? The Taliban are in Afghanistan, not Iraq.
al-Qaeda, isnt it?
Well al-qaeda was orginally in Afghanistan as well, protected by the Taliban, when we invaded Iraq some al-qaeda opratives went to train the Iraqi militia. So al-qaeda could be a "minor" faction in this mod, but the Taliban had NO connection to Iraq at all.

Yes they do, like i said in the other post, al-qaeda operatives were killed in Iraq while fighting with the insurgents. They have people in almost all countries.
