Hm, the cameras seem to be to large and the map seems to miss the little polish, a little rubbish and dirt here and there, you know :)

The early Combine themes were more about reusing our own technology and materials (cameras, metals - their early Sensor Gates were built with human materials) for their purpose.

About the rubbish and dirt, thats why there are sweeping slave Vortigaunts and Cremators.

Oh my god, that atmosphere, that theme, I ******* LOVE IT!
However, be careful on the textures and detail, eh?
It's mostly missing. Like some of the textures are repetitive (especially on the church), the walls are way too blocky and where are the kids working at the factory? :S

You've pretty much nailed it though. Keep going :)

Thanks for the feedback man :D

I decided to integrate the Supression Field theme into my personal Beta storyline, and remove children altogether. They just dont add nothing to the feel.

Besides, the Supression Field concept is way more darker than having a bunch of children laying aroud.
