A Half-Life 2 leak-themed mod that attempts to recreate the dark atmosphere of the original storyline. Our goal isn't to completely remake the entire storyline, but to add maps that are worth playing, <- this was the original plan, but now we are remaking the storyline. We will release it once we all agree that it is done, which is why we don't have clear release date.

In light of recent events, we have rebooted Insolence's development under a new name: Terminus. However, this is not the end of Insolence. Not by a long shot. I am planning on working on Insolence as a solo project while also working on Terminus and a release will come sooner than later as a base mod for mappers, possibly with a few .vmfs if there's enough demand for them. This is not a bad thing, Terminus will be reusing most of Insolence's assets, if not all of them. This includes the coding. The mod ain't dead.

Alright, at the risk of getting a patronizing comment or two (and I won't be surprised at all if that happens), I figured I should clear things up a bit. Despite what MI's leader said, the Insolence team is not going around claiming that we're merging with MI. It was simply a one-off joke told by one of our members that somehow got leaked to the public. Now, I've already asked him to clarify this but judging by how he hasn't done it he has refused to do so. As a result, we can only conclude that he's trying to stir up trouble, but we will not stoop to his level by saying that the entire MI team is responsible for this situation.

Glad to see that cleared up. I do appreciate the work both Insolence and Missing Information are doing however it does appear that there's some sort of "rivalry" between the two. Either way, I'll be playing both because I really enjoy this concept of the original "darker" storyline Half-Life 2 had.

Keep up the good work.

The hostility started when MI's head dev decided to do a personal attack against me on a forum and accuse me of stealing from him for no clear reason other than the fact that there's a leak mod that isn't MI, and it's very likely that he has my personal information in addition to other folks' personal info since he bragged about DOXing most of AGNMI's members. It's probably only a matter of time until he makes it public. He has also been antagonistic toward some other old content developers.

Well no, if it was a rivalry it would involve the entire MI team, and it doesn't.

The amount of Ana/Anna's that are involved/concerned with this mod is simply astounding.

Well one of them was a flake-out modeler, one of them sorta just suggested where I should put Zombies, and one of them was a Frozen fan that periodically came to check to make sure we didn't blow our own brains out in frustration. So by that logic, it's more of a mixed-bag milestone.

Just in case, is your sourcemods folder in the main Steam directory? I.e. it should be where you have Steam installed, and not on any other drive, so you can't [easily] have sorcemods working in a custom library on another disk. (though it's possible to have all the mods on another drive and have a hardlink in the main Steam directory, that'll work) Also make sure that the mod folder you have in /sourcemods, has gameinfo.txt in it, and it's not like /sourcemods/insolence/insolence or anything similar.
