I also wonder… are you going to include cut types of traps from RtB concepts? Like, the corner-attached saw, or a scythe-like trap made from a truck cabin, that stuff…?

You will see all kinds of funky traps that take advantage of the physics system. There will be the e3_town traps, those you mentioned, the retail HL2 ones, traps that are in test maps, etc...

Description

Going through Quarrytown, the player is able to see a suicidal zombie which damages the electrical systems, blowing up the house and setting the place on flames in a spetacular fashion.

Nothing you Beta enthusiasts havent saw already. This is the classic e3_town map, repurposed into the Quarrytown level as the starting map. Presenting a radical change from the foggy streets of City 17, this part of the game features great signs of dead nature, from decaying trees to shallow polluted water, to complete lack of Earth wildlife.

Another interesting change is the lack of the two things that made Ravenholm famous: Gravity Gun and Father Gregori. Before you all start freaking yourselves out, there will be plenty of new traps to compensate for the lack of the Gravity Gun. About Father Gregori's absence, let me say that Ravenholm will be a lot more scarier and desolate without a mad monk around. Trust me on this one.
