I find it kinda funny that "Inquietude" defines my life right now. I'm going to be 100% honest with you guys because you guys need to know the truth.
I have not worked on Inquietude in about 3-4 months.
I'm going to take the blame for this one because I have been going through some serious problems. Please take the following as fact, not as a sob story. I was pretty poor so I took a low end job because that's all I could get. I had that job for about 1.5 years and ultimately got laid off. I could not keep up with rent and had to leave and I lived with a buddy for about 3 months. Then I realized that my unemployment checks weren't coming through because the house is foreclosed upon. So I got evicted. Now I'm living on the floor in a small apartment.
tl;dr, I'm going to work on the mod when I'm in a stable living environment. I wrote an album with a buddy to raise money but with the eviction a huge majority of that went to moving.
Hang tight, guys. I'm taking the full blame for Inquietude's absence and I will make it up to you when I can. I am moving in May again so hopefully I'll be good there.

Okay this is starting to sound kinda like sinister, the tapes Family #1 and so on, they sound like the snuffs from sinister
Real talk, that'd be a really lame thing to do. In my humble opinion, that is what that movie had going for it; were those snuff films.
Now, these tapes are in audio and/or video form from the Killer in Inquietude, (which you will learn a LOT more later on.)
Granted, there are a fair share of references (whether it be from movies or songs to massacres) in this mod which keep it fairly relatable to modern day society. However, I will assure you that this is not a shock-fest mod. This isn't a mod made for over-hyped youtuber's face-cams. There are some DEFINITE creepy moments in it, and some that are made to disturb you, but it is all made to give a nice, fresh, and overall new experience to the Horror Genre.

Glad to see this Mod is progressing well. The mapping really seems to reflect the atmosphere and mood bXmMusic has set.
This is one of the few I will actually play. not to say others I have tracked were not worthy, but my time is at a premium with my own work and real life.
Definitely looking forward to release :)

Was just looking at the Puppet Master last night, a classic series...and thought more games could use killer dolls.
I mean literally, dolls, the tiny ones, like the movies, make em fast and low damaging, but fast attacks. At some point also make it so that you can only see their shadow, or the outline of them in some doorway or some such...add to the creep factor. Don't show them outright, then have little tiny footstep noises, coming from all directions. Then flick on the lights and see the Doll / Dolls just standing there.

Thank you for your recommendation. This is very creepy! (Regardless of it being cheesy to today's standards, this reminds me of what NH2 did.)
I played NH2, but don't recall dolls.
But something about the Cheesy horror movies of the 80's and 90's are scarier than most today.
I was referring to the mannequins which I would interpret the dolls to be.
I agree, Poltergeist and The Exorcist are easily one of my favorite movies of all time.
