INFRA puts you into the boots of a structural analyst on a routine mission. Quickly though, your task turns into a fight for survival, all caused by deep-rooted schemes of the past. Your tools are simple: your camera and the wits to navigate a labyrinth of debris.
This might hint more about the gameplay & content.
great style, love it especially the description inside the image and beside it! :)
I like the minimalist style of the HUD. Will sound play when navigating the HUD or selecting items?
Also, will the crosshair be editable? Nothing flashy, just the ability to change the size and color.
Wow. I like this game more by the minute. I mean... by the update.
Blurring the edges sounds pretty horrible, to be honest. Especially when it's the edges, because you're probably not directly looking at that but the center. And when that happens you get fooled like your eyes have something in them, it feels awful.
Just my opinion though. I'd also like to play without a crosshair, but that doesn't annoy me even nearly as much as the blur.
We might make the crosshair toggleable.
If you really want it to feel like you're taking a hit, I've got an idea.
If the whole screen's contrast would spike for just a fraction of a second followed by a THUMP and then muffled sounds for a second. THEN add the blur. I can explain why.
None of you can know that I've been hit with a bowling ball to the head once, don't ask how or why - I have no idea myself, but I can most certainly tell you that when that ball hit I just heard THUMP and the world flashed. After which everything sounded muffled.
It might be harder to make, but I think it would be so much better.
Some puzzles are really annoying without it.
Simplistic, clean, minimalistic, love it. Entirely the style I love and I can't think of a way to improve, really. Maybe make the blurring MUCH more apparent, 'cause as IamError mentioned, it's not really pronounced enough, in my opinion.
It looks really nice!
So minimalistic and clean, and it seems like it will not interfere with the gameplay. So, a perfect hud :).
