Infection is all about having things to do, taking the normal zombie game and adding a large, deep story, and at the same time having many other game-modes to choose from. You can even just hang with your friends in the lobby mode. The game will feature a fully working achievement system so you can show off your accomplishments, an in-game stats page, and a fully customizable HUD. OK, Counter-Strike is officially now required to run the game. I coded in the mount a few minutes ago and it works perfect. Sorry to all that cant play it when it comes out! -BakonGuy
I promote CS:S in this mod, as Bakonguy's said the maps will look much more visually impressive and more modern. SUPPORT

Yes Add Cs:s to it if you have better models then more people will be intrested and that will cover up the losses

Hey guys, thanks for the support. I know the feeling of wanting to play a mod and not having whats required for it. So it makes this a hard decision for me. I'll have a final decision tomorrow and will post it on here and the main page.
Don't forget, CS:S is a pretty old game now, it's rather cheap and many people would have it now.

I would thus support to develop the mod without CS:S content, especially if the only enhancements achieved with it are visual ones...

You should add some CS:S content, I would remodel some of them, but I wouldnt use everything from CS:S
Well either way if you do or do not choose to use "CS:S"
Theres always another way for making more graphical visuals/enhancements.
But might be abit longer and may delay mod.
You can always do everything custom like a fue good mods out there where everythings custom and like some mods have there own custom visuals :)

We'd love to have all custom textures, but we don't know/have anyone in our team to do it.

dont forget, alot of people dont want to have to buy this game just for this, and clog up their computers.
I believe having CSS Installed will not be required, just having the actual game on steam is needed.
Do CSS, it will help your mod tremendously.

Ok now this Mod is off of my watch list because I have no Intention of buying CS:S.
What a shame... The mod looked pretty good too...
Heres my opinion,if you guys can make good weapons, u wont have to use up to the css , because what I think is that the CS:S 's weapon arent THAT good. So if you make the weapon urself, the game will be fresh to players. P.S. Its only a opinion.
ID say add css, because evryone has css, and theres way's to go around it
