In The Admiral's Service: Ultimate Showdown was initially planned for Starcraft 2, but as Blizzard continually shut out modders, I looked for greener pastures. Supreme Commander seems quite inviting for a total conversion intending to change the game into a giant fleet battle game of biblical proportions, so let's give it a shot, yes?
ITASUS' heart still beats. A new future plan is laid out.

No, not quite dead, I'm afraid. However, I don't plan to run ITASUS on SC2 anymore, unless Blizzard shocks us all by actually delivering something worthwhile to mod, but with the memory of the wc3 disaster fresh in our minds, we aren't so quick to forgive and forget.
At this point in time I suffer from extreme mental illnesses, including Bipolar, which are restricting my ability to do pretty much anything. I hope to have them solved in the near future, where I'll then undertake this project with renewed vigor.
I plan to switch ITASUS to Supreme Commander. Feedback has been most promising. It'll mean a lot of work, but hell, nothing of this scale gets done without some muscle put into it. It'll also mean learning LUA, the game engine, and probably some degree of 3ds max. I'm going to be working closely with Pheo in slowly learning how the game handles everything from models to weapons, and some day soon I plan to actually jump into the game and start screwing around.
In the modeling department, Kasker let me know he didn't actually die off, but was busy with real life issues, and is still ready to model for us when I give the green light.
In the sounds department, I plan to upgrade my recording equipment with some studio-grade stuff, like an audio interface and possibly a condenser microphone, so my already fabulous voice will be even better. :P
So, keep tuned. I don't plan to let this dream escape my grasp quite yet.
