In Ruins is a full conversion mod, currently under development by me (quicksilver89) and NaxEla. Aiming for a unique experience, the mod will be based on storytelling and atmosphere. Immersing the player with a gripping story, and beautiful environment, and some challenging puzzles.
1918, Kingswood, Brittain. WWI has barely come to an end when I decide to visit the renowned chemist Robert Steiner. Robert Steiner had been working together with Friedrich Wöhler synthesizing the substance known as the life-spark, directly contradicting the theory of Vitalism, in which living organisms are fundamentally different from non-living entities because they contain some non-physical element or are governed by different principles than inanimate things. News on scientific discoveries have halted since the start of WWI, and my letters are not being returned. Visiting his known adress near the Ellesmere Port is all I can do now...

Dear followers and visitors,
It has been quite some time since the last update. Busy personal scedules make it hard to find time to work on the mod. Important though, is that most of the mapping is done. That means that the focus will shift to storytelling and finetuning.
Having practically finished the maps, work can be done on the scripts for the voice-actors wanted for this mod. Sound-wise, I can also tell you that we are going to use custom ambient music as well as a custom soundtrack. More information on this will follow asap.
Also, I've added two new images to the gallery!

Hard to say.. I'm working on this in my spare time. Unfortunately I don't have that much spare time:( I want to get this out there asap though!

I think this is going to be an amazing custom story. Why? Because I saw the images, it looks like all items are in well good places like desk, cupboards, containers etc. I love atmospheric custom story like this and I hope this will come out very soon! And I think this going to be an number one hit in the popularity section, I am going to be tracking this because it's FTW and AMAZINGLY AWESOME! ;) Good luck developers.
