Thanks everyone and hope you like,
might i add i actually hope you will something else than zombies, take a look at penumbra series ( nice story ) zombies have been done so much already that is why RE4 took up ganados (crazed infested humans) wich is a great change from the familliar rotting zombies.
Maybe you can implement some kind of drugs that is to enhance, like RE the capacity of human soldiers on the field or something like a worldwide epidemic wich is going to be released what you are working on.
Well its still being developed, but i am going for traditional Zombies / Infection, but as a backdrop to the story!
No matter if zombies are too common and overused when there is a nice story to tell.
So what ever, good story - profit.
Common Zombies - it's ok.
Sounds interesting, I'm tracking!
great little update man, i hope to see a adventure/horror like experience from exploring the first half of the game to surviving, that is what you meant, no ?
Yeah all the time when developing Epidemic I wanted to tell the story from the start, so you understood before events why they happened and you had a very unique look at that. Also as I have said before I have never wanted to do Left 4 Dead but I have a strong love of the way Resident Evil 1 and 2 tells the story, explores and how you read documents to understand the events, that's my hope with In Peremptorys' Shadow, and that's why the name has changed. But you will see from both Epidemic and In Peremptorys' Shadow how the level design look will be similar in aesthetics.
I also have a massive love of Nightmare House 2 and before it died Outbreak Condemned, so I think the community needs a mod like this to bring it too a darker more sinister type of story, not just the non-stop zombie blasting, you get with left 4 Dead and other standard 1st person shooters.
There are some great Mods coming up wich will be very interesting to follow based on Resident evil and Amnesia: the dark descent, please check these out if you like for inspiration.
Really curious to see what you will be making :)

Although good links they are for Half-Life and Unreal, we could debate other platforms all day, more so i would look at Biohazard, Scintilla and other adventure games of its type built on the source engine and Ep2.
I am a resident evil fan myself, having owned PS1 with the original and RE2 also played the remakes on GC and RE4 wich was very good. (though adventures they featured a lot of action)
Resident evil was so great because of its artistic and storytelling device, will you also be making interactive?cutscene's to tell the story differently ?
BTW you WON'T need a copy of unreal to play the mod only install UDK wich they will provide with installation next year or so :)
On scintilla, i'm also waiting for it, Flesh was also desent but the storytelling shoul'd have been improved.
The story had no effect on the gameplay/puzzlesolving, something resident evil did, wich made the game more immersive, i hope you will take this to heart when
making your game.
Im hoping to encorporate alot of the feel of Resident Evil in to this mod, including cut-scenes and inventory as best i can.
I was a little bit dissapointed with some of the parts of Flesh, but it is also simply brilliant in its own way.
Im really a huge fan of Visage too and very much looking forward to playing that when it's out
