In Country: Vietnam is a brand-new, multiplayer first person TACTICAL SHOOTER being developed for the PC. It is a total conversion mod for both Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad and Red Orchestra 2: Rising Storm. In Country: Vietnam marks the first time that the Red Orchestra series will depart from the battlefields of World War II by plunging players into the claustrophobic jungle environments of Vietnam. Players can expect to face all new dangers; from crossing deadly open rice fields or clearing rural villages beset with traps, to defending entrenched fire-base positions and more!

Things like blood/dirt/patches will be layered on in-game, so in theory this is the base art.

Awesome, but perhaps a boonie hat instead of the cap?

I think we are almost out of head space for the US Army faction and a boonie hat was something we considered. In the end we decided to go for a soft cap and no headgear option instead.

That might change as we go along and if we can fit it in we will try, although it could end up being pushed onto another faction.

I hope veteran players will get SOG or special forces skins.

i think they would have to be their own faction. veterans should have things like rolled sleeves and untucked pant legs

Are snipers going to get special camo like a ghillie suit?

If the Marksman does get special camo,it would most likely be the Tiger Stripe face paint/suit that was used by soldiers during LRRPs (Long Range Reconnaissance Patrols) and other special operations. Wiki.urbandead.com
