IDF FFI UPDATE ! news - IDF: Fight for Independence mod for Battlefield 2

Hey folks.

I’m back with some news.

First of all, today all the Jewish community worldwide remembers the holocaust. Commemorating the memory of the Six million people who perished in one of the darkest eras ever known to man. Six million innocent, helpless men, women and children, slathered for no reason by the Nazi Government and their accomplices. Lets all remember them, and make sure that won’t happen to nobody, never again.

Secondly, I wanna say that that we've changed our schedules, and the mod is postponed for another week, to the 22 of may. Instead the 15 of May we'll be open day for you all to ask your questions and enjoy some unreleased screenshots of the beta and some new videos were working on. We’ve decided to do so to make us another margin for testing, and to add additional pieces of equipment not planned for the first release, and additional features. As for our progress on the mod, everything is going great, according to our plans.

As for the first release, it will contain two armies as most of you have already noticed from the equipment list. It will include the Six Day War, 1967, War of Attrition, 1969, and Yom Kippur war, 1973.

The FPR, First Public Release, ver. 0.9, will be closely followed by a 0.95 patch, which will fix the immanent bugs that the community will dig up, and add the Jordanian forces, including vehicles, dedicated sounds and maps, one of those will be the crown of all our effort, the map of Jerusalem.

Okey, after those announcements here’s the renders:

First of all Here’s the Centurion Shot Kal, The known British tank on steroids, with new diesel engine, 105mm American gun, similar to the one on the M60 Patton, and 12 60mm mortars with smoke shells. That’s the backbone of the Israeli armed forces. Enjoy...:

Second is the backbone of the Egyptian and Syrian armies on the 50 and early 60, replaced by the T54, that you'll see at the next update, mounting the old but rugged 85mm HV gun, DT coax MG, Diesel engine, DT on the bow position (only until the 69 conflict), and A DShK AA position:

BTR-152 APC, fast, rugged and armed with the DShK HMG, it’s a very useful weapon on the battlefield. All the front hatches and back doors are active, meaning you can open and close them as you want:

A commando Knife, nothing to add, just that it’s sharp:
